Ah it's grand.
Sure.

So, there’s no direct way to import from Mephisto to WordPress which means that you’re using the feed. Alas, Mephisto uses Atom for its feed and WordPress doesn’t support Atom. Here’s where Feedburner comes in handy. You can tell Feedburner to convert the feed into RSS 2.0, grab the new output and import that into WordPress. Going to work on getting the comments in.

I refuse to call it ‘brunch’ even though that’s what the rest of the world would call it. It was rather tasty on Sunday. Simple, but tasty. Toast, bacon and scrambled eggs:

I went down about 6:30pm on the day of the launch party to Geek Terminal and was disappointed that there didn’t seem to be much going on other than people getting into the free food. While the socialising seemed good I couldn’t see any gadgets and that’s what I was after. There wasn’t any real indication of how to join in or make yourself known either. Being a geek in such a place it would have been nice if that had been catered for better. I went off in somewhat of a sulk :)

So I went quiet again on here .. I’ve just been too lazy too post. What I need is a good blogging client on my E70 …

Will try to get a few posts on tonight.

Following up on my previous post about installing Photospace, I now have a number of photos up. I’ve even started to play with the geospatial part.

I finally settled on a date for hosting the meetup – I’ve been putting it off for months now (because of my frequent trips down to NZ). The address is: 38 Shelford Road, #01-07 Watten Estate, Singapore 288431 . That location on Streetdirectory is a bit deceptive because it’s the main entrance of Watten Estate Condo. The easiest way to my place (have that map handy) is to continue straight along Shelford Road until you reach that junction where you can only turn left or right. Then turn left and you will first see the condo “28 Shelford Road” then keep going. My place is on the left, opposite the entrance to “Point Loma”.

Popped down to Tekka Market for an early dinner today. C finally showed me the stall where she gets my favourite Mee Goreng from, so I marked the occassion with a quick photo. Not a great photo, but it’s there anyway – stall #01-325 (enter from the bus top tagged ‘BLK 663’.

The Mee Goreng itself has a nice blend of meat, potatoes and spice and is always reliable in terms of the quality and flavour.

Already, people have used it quite a bit around the CBD. Maybe it will become so prevalent that one can just hop from hotspot to hotspot.

Found a new site, Speedtest, today that is another way of testing your internet connection.

Fun filled week for me as I came back after a pleasant two weeks leave. Mind you, my brother Eamonn did describe my leave as something of a busmans holiday when I was telling him about setting Scalix.
